I am a puzzle

Metaphorically and literally!! But I was wondering if sometimes my character is too much of a puzzle for my friends to put up with! I am sure about one thing, the last two years have changed my character COMPLETELY, maybe it's not very obvious to others but it's obvious to me.

Anyway..vraiment it has been a month since I last wrote..although nothing very special happened apart from the B day, that was YESTERDAY! Happy birthday to meeeeeee....cumpleaaaañooos ffeeeeliiiizzzz....(I'm 24 in case you're wondering) and tomorrow night comes the FIESTA hiiiihaaaaaaa!!

I also wanted to say something else...but I forgot

A new era begins! I entered the National School of Public Administration!!I came 37th out of 150, and I managed to get into the department I wanted, that of Tourist Economy and Development. I’m sooooo happy! So now, I may have actual facts about a carrer to talk about in my blog! I know nothing about classes yet but I’ll keep my loyal readers informed! (hoping they may increase in number!) I’m ready to go out there and attract all those sun-craving tourists and history-lovers, as well as potential investors, ship-owners, international jet-set, actors (two or three in particular who are my favourites, they won’t resist a government official call will they?) and of course I think I will simply have to go and fetch them! (meaning I want to travel!!) Please don’t think of me as a bureaucrat! I will bring a new meaning to the word! And yes I’m going a bit crazy out of joy so please forgive any extravagant phrases!

I very recently read this book. It is a story about the persecution of all existing black cats on an island (representing the whole of society) accused of being responsible for every kind of jinx. I don't know if it is merely a children's story. I also found many more hidden meanings and allusions to discrimination and lack of tolerance. Has anyone read this book? Do you share this opinion?

As noone actually reads or comments on my blog (except for very very few friends which I thank) I think I'll take a break and figure out my state of mind, my life and my ideas, which, I assure you, are in great confusion. These last few months are characterised by a very weird silence, and lack of mobility, while simultaneously I can sense an electrified atmosphere, a bit like calmness before the tempest you know?
Anyway...I can't really explain. Hope to write again soon..

By the way, good luck to Olympic cities bidding today.. I have friends in almost all of them so I can't support one in particular (although there are always some favourites ;)
I can say however, as an experienced volunteer (hehe) that it's something you experience once in a lifetime..it's GREAT!!

Athens Olympics ...unforgettable

My friends find really funny the part into which you bump into great athletes, PMs, Presidents, royalties(although I am against this particular institution), etc..or even when a royalty bumps into..you (me in particular)because you were blocking the entrance..and when you turn around having that annoyed, angry, disturbed-who-the-hell...-look and ..."oops! Hola Reina Sofia..hehe..."

One advice: If your city wins the Olympics and you have been smart enough to have applied as a volunteer (the only way to live the whole atmosphere profoundly, going just to a few games doesn't guarantee you'll get the grip of the whole party)..be practical and choose the " Protocol assistant" job (the one I had of course). They are the only volunteers who, attached to a VIP person, get to see all (and I mean ALL) venues,stadiums, hotels, olympic village, press centres,embassies,attend some parties or lunches, and see many things backstage. In any other volunteer job you are stuck in only one place, which is ok if it is the main stadium, many things happen there, but again.. it is only one place.

I loved the part were singapurian singers sang the Olympic Anthem in greek. I was moved! snif snif!!

Today I had my hair dyed! By my art-maniac friend Athina :P She found my head as the new living canvas..and also discovered her vocation for head massage,and hairdressing in general, so someone please take over her normal job because I think she will be changing career soon!! haha No, I'm not blond..yet, but I think I got a summer..shimmering..suntan on my hair!Which means..I like it!! How can a small change, completely alter your psychological situation (simultaneously turning you into a self-admiring clown who looks herself into the mirror smiling in the most silly of ways everytime you go-deliberately-past it!!)

Los Serrano is my favourite Spanish series. Sex and the city is my other (american)favourite series. And of course I have bought the "shoebox" with all the episodes!The series (especially season six) reminds me of Paris -salut les filles!-and of course you didn't know that I have starred in a movie have you?!Ha! Co-starred actually with my friend Matthias!(hey Matze :P)We are both superstars now, somewhere in Japan!It was actually a fine day when we decided to go for a walk close to the Panthéon..was it?When this kind japaneese movie director approached -our star shone bright so it wasn't difficult for her to spot us!She was absolutely convinced that we were the perfect protagonists for her next blockbuster! A japaneese documentary!!(well everyone has to start from somewhere).All we had to do was sit in a cafe and drink orange-juice! (well, I said it was a documentary.People in documentaries don't talk too much anyway!)So, don't be surprised if you see me walking on the red carpet next year (the Academy Award Carpet of course, after the one in Cannes bien sur!!)
This and much more things happenned during my wonderful euromasters programme which you didn't have the chance to know at the time they happenned because last year I didn't know about blogs :)) So now, you'll get to know all my adventures!!(lucky you, hein?)
